Sasha Sagan

For Small Creatures Such As We: Finding Wonder and Meaning in Our Unlikely World Inspired by her viral essay "Lessons of Immortality and Mortality From My Father Carl Sagan", Sasha Sagan set out to celebrate all the marvels of life on Earth that require no faith in order to be believed. Drawing on both Jewish and Christian backgrounds, she and her husband became determined to create new secular rituals that would instill both joy and wonder in their daughter.

Sasha Sagan is the daughter of astronomer Carl Sagan and works as a TV producer, filmmaker, editor, and speaker. Her writing has appeared in New York Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine, Literary Hub, and Mashable.
